Two men are facing a string of charges and a woman is wanted by police following a robbery at a Gold Coast hotel.

Police say the woman and one of the men stole a wallet from a patron at the Mudgeeraba hotel on Saturday afternoon.

The patron, visiting from the Northern Territory, followed the woman into a car park where he was threatened by another man wielding a knife, police said.

The woman then allegedly took cash from the wallet before fleeing with the armed man in a car.

A 29-year-old man will face a series of charges, including armed robbery and three counts of receiving tainted property, in the Southport Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
