Two dead, one hurt in horror WA collision

Two women have been killed in a collision between a car and 4WD north of Perth, with two men also injured.

Two women have been killed and and man rushed to hospital in a critical condition after a horrific head-on collision north of Perth.

The women, aged 54 and 59, were passengers in a Toyota Camry which crashed into a 4WD on the Brand Highway at Bookara on Thursday afternoon.

The pair died at the scene, while the 53-year-old male driver of the Camry suffered critical injuries and was taken to Geraldton Hospital.

The driver of the 4WD, a 42-year-old man, suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the same hospital.
