Residents in the path of two large out-of-control bushfires on the NSW south coast are being warned to seek shelter immediately.

The Rural Fire Service has issued emergency warnings for the blazes at Bemboka near Bega and Mount Kingiman near Ulladulla.

The service advises spot fires may break out well ahead of the fires and threaten properties.

The 300-hectare blaze at Bemboka in the Bega Valley is moving east through inaccessible areas of a national park.

Residents are advised to seek shelter immediately if north of the Snowy Mountains Highway and east of the Princes Highway, including Numbugga.

The Mount Kingiman fire is uncontrolled west of Burrill Lake and moving southeast.

People have been told to leave for central Ulladulla from the towns of Burrill Lake, Kings Point and south of Ulladulla if they are unprepared or have a bushfire plan to leave.

The Ulladulla Civic Centre has been established as an evacuation centre.

Some 48 incidents were reported across the state between Friday and Sunday, 10 more than the previous weekend.
