A woman has suffered a suspected drug overdose at a dance party in Sydney's west.

A 19-year-old man was also taken to Concord Hospital early on Sunday morning after paramedics allegedly found him drug affected at the festival in Homebush.

The man has since been released while the woman's condition is unknown at this stage, police say.

Officers charged 16 people for illegal drug possession at the dance party while two were issued with cannabis cautions.

A 30-year-old man was also charged on a first-instance warrant while a 23-year-old man was charged with three offences including offensive behaviour.
