Two injured in SA plane forced landing

A light plane has made a forced landing in South Australia's mid-north after engine failure, but two men have escaped without serious injury.

Two men have suffered minor injuries during the forced landing of a light plane in scrub on a rural property in South Australia's mid-north.

Police said the engine on the Light Wing LW1 aircraft seized, forcing the pilot to put down on the property at Stirling North near Port Augusta.

Police said the Australian Transport Safety Bureau had been advised of the incident but were not investigating it.
