A woman is fighting for her life after a helicopter crash on private property in regional Victoria.
The woman and a man were on board when the helicopter came down on a property in Piries, just south of Mansfield, shortly after 3pm on Saturday.
The woman has been airlifted to the Alfred Hospital where she remains in a critical condition, Ambulance Victoria said.
The male passenger received minor injuries and was also taken to the same hospital in an air ambulance. Both are believed to be aged in their 40s.
Air safety authorities have been notified, police said.
