Two men have died in separate crashes on Christmas Day and Boxing Day in Victoria.

A 37-year-old man died in hospital after his car left the road, ending up in the front yard of a house on Christmas Day in Clunes.

On Monday, a man died after a petrol tanker and ute collided in Geelong.

The crash happened at an intersection in Corio just before 5pm, police say, with the driver of the ute dying at the scene.

The passenger in the ute was being treated by paramedics, while the uninjured tanker driver is assisting police.
