Two people found dead in SA home

Police have found an elderly man and woman dead in a home in Adelaide's CBD.

There are no signs of foul play in the deaths of an elderly couple found in a home in the centre of Adelaide, police say.

Acting Superintendent Denise Gray says investigations are continuing with forensic officers examining the scene in Gilles Street in the city.

She said the deaths were not considered suspicious, with no signs of intervention by a third party. The couple were described as frail.

"For all we know they may have died by natural causes," Supt Gray said.

"They were last seen by the cleaner five days ago, but there is a paper in there from Friday.
