Two Perth ATMs blown up on Christmas morning

Arson squad officers are investigating ATM explosions that occurred within minutes of each other at two Perth retail precincts.

An ATM exploded at a Perth retail precinct and another was blown up at a shopping centre minutes later on Christmas morning, police say.

Officers were called to an explosion at an ATM at the Leda shops just before 5am.

Minutes later they were notified of a second explosion at an ATM at a shopping centre at Medina.

The WA police arson squad is investigating.
