Two Qld men wanted over cold call scams

Queensland's crime watchdog has issued two arrest warrants over a cold call investment scam on the Gold Coast.

Queensland's Crime and Corruption Commission has issued arrest warrants for two men involved in boiler room scams on the Gold Coast.

One of the men, 51, is in the Philippines with police poised to arrest him on charges of aggravated fraud and money laundering on his return to Australia.

The other, aged 27, is in Australia and wanted for aggravated fraud.

The warrants are a result of the joint CCC and Queensland police investigation Lima Violin II which has operated since July 2014 cracking down on cold call investment frauds.
