Police have charged two men with serious assault after they spat on paramedics in separate incidents in southeast Queensland over the weekend.

Two patients allegedly spat on paramedics in separate incidents in southeast Queensland over the weekend.

Police say a 21-year-old man spat on the arm of an officer at Surfers Paradise in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Another man, 25, spat in the face of female paramedic treating him at Caboolture on Sunday afternoon. Both will face court charged with seriously assaulting a public officer.
