U-19 Aussie women's cricketers to leave NZ

Australia's under-19s women's cricketers will return home from Christchurch after shootings at two mosques in the New Zealand city.

Australia's under-19s women's cricketers will return home from Christchurch with their tour of New Zealand cancelled after shootings at two mosques in the city on Friday.

Australia's youngsters were due to play a one-dayer in Lincoln on Saturday followed by a Twenty20 at the same Christchurch ground on Sunday.

Soon after the incident New Zealand Cricket made the call to cancel both of those games as well as Bangladesh's third Test against the Black Caps.

Cricket Australia have also been in constant contact with the team, while members of the side have communicated their wellbeing to their families.
