Uber drivers risk fines for operating illegally if they keep offering their ride-sharing services in Victoria.
That's because a Melbourne Magistrate on Friday found Uber driver Nathan Brenner guilty of two counts of operating a commercial passenger vehicle without a licence.
Brenner was fined without conviction.
He was one of 13 Uber drivers charged by the Taxi Services Commission last year during an undercover operation.
The court decision effectively means the Uber ride-sharing service is illegal in Victoria.
