London police say one man has been pronounced dead at the scene of the north London mosque attack and eight are in hospital.

London police say one man has been pronounced dead at the scene of the north London mosque attack.

Eight patients have been taken to hospital, they say.

They say there are no immediate reports of anyone suffering knife injuries.

The van driver, 48, will be subject to a mental health assessment.

The investigation is being undertaken by the British Police's counter terrorism command.
