UK warns on US-Iran conflict risk

British Foreign Minister Jeremy Hunt says the UK is worried about the risk of unintended escalation of tensions and accidental conflict between the US and Iran.

Britain's Foreign Minister Jeremy Hunt has warned of the risks of an unintended conflict between the United States and Iran over the unravelling nuclear deal.

"We are very worried about the risk of a conflict happening by accident with an escalation that is unintended," Hunt told reporters in Brussels on Monday, adding that it was crucial not to put Iran back on the path of re-nuclearisation.
