Unseen Brett Whiteley's paintings on show in Sydney

A new collection of rare works from Australian artist Brett Whiteley, including paintings never seen before, has gone on show in Sydney.

The 1960s was a strange time when many experimented with new, different and sometime dangerous ways of doing things.

In the forefront of the trend was Australian artist Brett Whiteley, who was living in Swinging London at the time.

Now, a new collection of rare works from that era have gone on show, at his Surry Hills gallery in inner Sydney. They include paintings never before seen in public.
