Up to 175 new tech jobs in Melbourne

Up to 175 new tech jobs will be created with the expansion of Zendesk's Melbourne operation.

Cloud software provider Zendesk will base its Asia Pacific software engineering centre in Melbourne, creating up to 175 new jobs.

The company will collaborate with Victoria's universities, and looks after 3500 Australian customers.

"Zendesk's decision to base its tech headquarters in Melbourne is a vote of confidence in the future of our industry and means more high skill jobs for Victorians," Premier Daniel Andrews said on Monday.
