Up to 60 disability jobs for SA

The South Australian government says a medical supply contract with a disability not-for-profit for the new RAH will create up to 60 jobs.

Up to 60 South Australians with a disability will find work delivering medical supplies to the new Royal Adelaide Hospital.

SA not-for-profit Bedford Group will pick, pack and deliver medical supplies to the new RAH in the lead up to its opening and during its first year of operation, Disability Minister Leesa Vlahos says.

"Bedford's employees will be providing a vital service to the new Royal Adelaide Hospital, packing up tens and thousands of medical supplies so they are ready to use for our doctors, nurses and allied health staff," she said on Friday.
