Las Vegas' airport has geared up for this year's International CES show, installing 2000 USB ports under seats and inside bars and restaurants so consumers can charge their myriad devices.
Hundreds of thousands of tech-savvy travellers are pouring into Vegas for the global consumer electronics and technology show, forcing the city's main airport to update a decades-old terminal.
By Friday at McCarran International Airport, about 2000 outlets and USB ports will be available for those looking for a power charge before heading home after the gadget convention.
Ten years ago, the airport installed free wi-fi ahead of the electronics show at that time, when travellers had a laptop and were - at most - checking email or finishing a PowerPoint presentation.
Now, there are movies to stream, virtual meetings to conduct, internet games to play and books to download.
Hot trends at this year's International CES include internet connectivity in everyday products such as cars and appliances and the growth of online video as an alternative to traditional television channels.
New TVs with sharper images and better colours are also expected.
The four-day show begins on Tuesday.
