A US conservative commentator is under fire for comparing teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg to Nazi propaganda.
Dinesh D'Souza posted an image on Sunday of Greta wearing her trademark pigtails alongside a Nazi-era poster featuring a young girl, with similar features and hair.

"Children - notably Nordic white girls with braids and red cheeks - were often used in Nazi propaganda. An old Goebbels technique! Looks like today’s progressive Left is still learning its game from an earlier Left in the 1930s," he said.
Mr D'Souza is a Fox News contributor, who has a track record of climate change denialism.
He made headlines last year when he received a full pardon from President Donald Trump after being found guilty of violating federal campaign finance laws.
But his Sunday tweet drew sharp criticism from across the political spectrum.
It comes days after masses of children around the world held hundreds of climate strikes, inspired by Greta's initial protest in Sweden last year.
"I hope this will be another social tipping point that we show how many people are engaged, how many people are putting pressure on leaders," Greta said in New York.
The 16-year-old, who has been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize for her climate activism, will also appear at a major UN climate summit this week.
UN chief Antonio Guterres has called the summit to seek greater commitments from world leaders on reducing their greenhouse gas emissions in line with the Paris accord to avert runaway global warming.
On Monday, a UN report found climate change is accelerating, with carbon dioxide levels increasing, sea levels rising and ice sheets melting faster than ever.
The world has warmed by 1.1C since pre-industrial times, and by 0.2C just compared to the previous five year period 2011-2015, the report showed.
