A US woman injured in the Westminster Bridge terror attack says she was looking at her camera and didn't see the sport utility vehicle coming before it ploughed into a crowd of pedestrians, killing her husband.
Melissa Cochran said on Saturday she and her 54-year-old husband Kurt Cochran had been grabbing each other's hands, kissing and saying how much fun they were having just before the March 22 attack.
Cochran, 46, says she's sometimes angry at the attacker who killed her husband, but she doesn't hate him and wants to instead spread a message of love.
She suffered a broken leg in the attack and arrived on crutches at a concert in Utah on Saturday honouring her husband, who helped developed young local musicians at a recording studio in his home.
A London police officer who rushed to help the Cochrans travelled to Utah for the concert.
Keith Malda said he found Melissa Cochran injured and silent after the attack and gave her first aid and stayed in touch throughout her recovery.
Malda says he has been inspired by her focus on love rather than hate after the attack.
