US hotels Turkey, could be targets

US citizens are being warned about using American hotels in Turkey's major southern city of Adana, with the US Consulate saying there are specific threats.

The US Consulate in Adana, Turkey, is warning Americans that it has obtained specific and credible threats of potential terrorist activity targeting US-branded hotels in Adana.

"US citizens in Adana are advised to exercise caution when patronising these establishments," the consulate said in a statement on its website.
