An American Federal judge has ruled against Muslims in New Jersey who claimed they were illegally subjected to spying.

New York City police have been conducting covert activities in what they claim are an effort to root out potential terrorists.

Washington correspondent John Stempin told Abby Dinham, the police monitoring was widespread.
