Conan O'Brien has become the first late-night host to film in Cuba since a US embargo on the country took effect in 1962.
O’Brien spent the past weekend filming segments in Havana, Cuba, for his hit show "Conan," CNN reports.
A press release said the comedian spent "multiple days taking in the sights, sounds and culture of the country.
“The trip gives the 'Conan' audience a rare glimpse into the daily life of a country not often seen by American viewers,” the statement said.
In December, US President Barack Obama said he would move to re-establish diplomatic relations with Cuba, meaning more American productions could be filmed there in the futire.

O’Brien's Cuban segments will go to air in early March.
