It's what happens when fact and fiction collide: police in New York have mistaken a movie set where actors where pretending to hold up a convenience store, for reality.
The police were responding to an emergency call from passers-by, who could see the actors, but not the cameras and film crew.
Nassau County police entered the store and ordered the 'gunman' to drop his weapon. The actor yelled out "it's a movie!" but didn't drop the fake gun. He was eventually disarmed by the officer, police say.
