The American pornographic movie industry shut down three times in 2013 but is set to resume full-scale production in 2014.

Porn industry shutdowns can cost the US economy millions of dollars and are at the centre of a safe workplace campaign in California.

North America correspondent John Stempin tells Kerri Worthington what's been causing the shutdowns.
