Stewart Crameri's AFL journey appears over after the 30-year-old was one of six players cut by Geelong following their elimination final loss to Melbourne.
After stints with Essendon and the Western Bulldogs, Crameri was thrown a rookie lifeline by the Cats at the end of last season but struggled with injury and managed just four games.
Crameri, who was the Bombers' leading goalkicker for three seasons in a row, switched to the Dogs after playing 57 games in four years.
He topped the Bulldogs' goal-kicking list in his first season at Whitten Oval but missed the club's drought-breaking 2016 premiership as he served a doping suspension arising from Essendon's ill-fated supplements program.
Crameri kicked two goals in his debut for Geelong in round seven, which was also his 100th AFL match, but was dropped after four matches and was unable to reclaim a spot in Chris Scott's line-up.
Former North Melbourne forward Aaron Black, Ryan Gardner, Cory Gregson, Timm House and rookie Matthew Hayball weren't offered contracts for the 2019 season either.
"We sincerely thank all six players for their service to the club," Cats football boss Simon Lloyd said.
"Whether it be over a short or a long period, these players have all made a contribution to Geelong as footballers and as quality people.
"The club wishes them all the best as they embark on their future endeavours."
Black played seven games for Geelong to take his career tally to 57 but his season ended when he ruptured an anterior cruciate ligament in round 12.
Gregson played 39 games in four years with the Cats but has struggled with a chronic foot injury that sidelined him for the entire 2017 season.
