Queensland greyhound trainer Tom Noble is behind bars after he was charged with intimidating another person over the live baiting scandal.

Noble, 68, appeared in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on Friday and was denied bail.

It's alleged he threatened or intimidated a witness who has previously appeared in the same court on several offences of animal cruelty.

Noble was banned from the race tracks for life and charged with seven counts of animal cruelty following investigations into live baiting in Queensland's greyhound racing industry.

An ABC Four Corners report sparked national outrage and resulted in a taskforce being set up to investigate the illegal practice.

A man and a woman are due to face the Ipswich Magistrates Court on April 29 charged with a total of 11 counts of animal cruelty.

Another man, aged 52, is due to join them on a charge of failing to secure a firearm.

Ten people have now been charged as a result of the taskforce's investigation in Queensland.

Six greyhound trainers have been banned from the industry for life and more than two dozen have stood down.

Mr Noble is due to return to court on July 1.
