The pay dispute between Ambulance Victoria and its managers is set to drag on over Christmas, with indefinite industrial action announced.

Ambulance Victoria managers have put indefinite bans on releasing response time data, responding to ministerial or departmental requests, and taking on higher duties.

The Ambulance Managers and Professionals Association says the latest pay offer means a senior paramedic manager will be earning almost $28,000 a year less than the staff they manage.
