A bushfire in Central Victoria has been contained.
An emergency warning was issued by the Country Fire Authority for Lyal, Myrtle Creek, Pilchers Bridge and Redesdale just after 8pm (AEDT) on Tuesday.
It was downgraded after 9.30pm to an advice message.
CFA crews will remain on scene overnight patrolling and blacking out.
The CFA said there was no longer a threat to communities.

It said smoke and some flames may still be visible from nearby communities and roads during the night.
