Vic freeway minivan crash injures five

Five people are injured, two seriously, after a minivan crashed on a Victorian freeway on Christmas Eve.

A minivan carrying 11 passengers has rolled multiple times on a Victorian freeway, leaving five people injured.

The Toyota HiAce crashed into a tree at 9.30am on Thursday near Tallarook, north of Melbourne.

An eight-year-old girl and a 19-year-old woman have been taken to the Northern Hospital with serious injuries, while three others are being treated for minor injuries.
