Victoria has a new millionaire, but their identity is unknown as they have yet to claim their winnings.

The division one OZ Lotto ticket, with its $10 million prize in Tuesday night's draw, was bought in Ocean Grove.

Tatts Lotteries is keen to find the mystery millionaire and has urged players to check their tickets.

Spokeswoman Zoe Knobel said the ticket may have been bought by someone on holiday.

"There is a lot of conjecture around who Australia's newest Oz Lotto millionaire might be," Ms Knobel said.

"We've spoken to the shop owner who said he had a lot of tourists passing through and purchasing tickets."

The ticket was not registered to a Tatts Lotteries card, so the owner cannot be contacted.

Players are urged to contact Tatts Lotteries as soon as possible if they think they are holding the winning ticket.

The winning numbers were 28, 17, 19, 14, 21, 20 and 29 with the supplementary numbers of 1 and 45.
