A P-plater with a two-year-old in her car and a male suspended driver have been caught speeding at 150km/h in country Victoria.

The 21-year-old Melton woman and a Melton man, 23, had their allegedly unregistered cars impounded after they were pulled over on the Hume Freeway in Wangaratta on Tuesday.

The pair have been charged with numerous offences - including speeding and driving while suspended - and are scheduled to appear in court in September.
