Vic Police injured in train station fight

Police officers have been injured in a violent brawl between a group of unruly youths at a Melbourne train station.

A number of police officers have been injured in a violent brawl between three youths at a train station in Melbourne.

A fight broke out at Altona train station at about 6pm with police forced to use capsicum spray to control the scuffle.

Two girls and a boy have been arrested and will face charges.

Victoria Police spokeswoman Belinda Batty said some officers suffered minor injuries as a result.

It is unknown how the fight started.
