Vic police launch Frankston murder probe

Victorian police are appealing for public information after a woman found in a Frankston house with critical injuries died in hospital.

A murder probe is underway in Melbourne after a woman died in hospital from critical injuries.

Homicide detectives are appealing for information after the 45-year-old woman was found in a Frankston house in a critical condition on March 25.

She died in hospital three days later.

The woman's injuries have not been released and the exact circumstances of her death are yet to be determined, police say.

Police on Saturday said homicide detectives were investigating and anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
