Two prisoners who spent a night on the run in northern Victoria have been caught.
The men, Stephen Standage and Patrick Honeysett, left the grounds of minimum-security Dhurringile Prison after 5pm (AEDT) on Tuesday.
Police received information that the men had been seen on the outskirts of Mooroopna, near Shepparton, on Wednesday morning and swooped.
The prisoners, who are in jail for burglary and handling stolen goods-related charges, are expected to be charged with escape.
