Vic teenager falls out of divvy van

A Victorian teenager has been hurt falling out of a police divisional van.

A teenager has fallen out of the back of a Victorian police divvy van.

The 17-year-old girl was put in the back of the vehicle after her arrest but the back door swung open as the van drove off and she fell out.

The girl was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with minor injuries after the incident at Kilmore on January 24.

Police on Friday said the van was moving at low speeds.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing and the divisional van has since been assessed.
