Victoria have cruised to a 113-run victory over Tasmania on day four of their opening round day-night Sheffield Shield clash at the MCG.
Chasing 365 to win on Friday, the visitors were bowled out for 251 with 28.3 overs to spare.
James Faulkner top-scored with a patient 78 and was the last wicket to fall, while George Bailey notched 47 before Scott Boland had him caught behind after tea.
Tasmania resumed their second innings on Friday at 3-19 and lost another wicket from just the fifth ball of the day, as veteran seamer Peter Siddle had Caleb Jewell caught in the slips for 12.
Bailey, who was dropped by Dan Christian at first slip shortly before tea, and nightwatchman Andrew Fekete put on a 58-run partnership before Fekete was clean bowled by Chris Tremain for 30.
Tremain took 3-60, Boland 3-66 and Siddle, named on Friday in Australia's 12-man squad for the first and second Tests against South Africa, finished with 2-25.
The 31-year-old managed his workload, sending down a total of 24 overs in two innings, in his return to first-class cricket after suffering a stress fracture in his back in February.
Jackson Bird, who was overlooked for the Test squad in favour of uncapped South Australian Joe Mennie, followed up his three first-innings wickets with 3-75 in the second dig, as Victoria's middle order collapsed on Thursday to give the visitors some hope of a comeback.
But the resurgence was shortlived, with Tasmania losing three quick wickets in the final overs of the third day.
Marcus Harris was the pick of the batsmen for Victoria, backing up his first-innings century with a quickfire 77 in his first match since defecting from Western Australia.
Peter Handscomb, Matthew Wade (both 78) and Cameron White (64) all contributed in the first innings as Victoria piled on 415 to set up their victory.
"We batted really well," Victorian captain Wade said after the game.
"That night period was quite challenging throughout the whole game so we did really well to get through that period and then push on to get a big score in the first innings to set the game up."
Tasmania will consider changes ahead of next week's clash with South Australia after poor performances by their top-order batsmen in both innings.
"The game really got away from us on day one," chairman of selectors Michael Farrell said.
"We started very poorly with the ball and likewise the Victorian top order played very well, scored their runs quickly and we were always on the back foot."
