Vics cricketer sidelined with calf injury

Spinner Jon Holland has joined Matthew Wade and John Hastings on Victoria's injured list ahead of their next Sheffield Shield match.

Left-arm spinner Jon Holland is the latest injury concern for Victoria in Sheffield Shield cricket.

Holland is expected to be out of action for two to four weeks with a calf muscle problem.

Captain Matthew Wade needed surgery when he suffered a fractured collarbone while batting in the nets on the first morning of this week's draw with WA.

And John Hastings missed the WA match with a shoulder injury, although he could return for the return match from November 27 in Perth.

Meanwhile, former Victorian captain Cameron White is not in the Futures League squad for next week's home game against the ACT.

White, who is yet to play Shield cricket so far this summer, scored 144 for the second XI last week against Tasmania.

But White's absence from the next Futures League game apparently does not yet mean he is in the squad for the next Shield match.

That squad will be named early next week.
