Victims of four terror attacks get aid

The federal government has expanded its terrorism victim payment scheme to cover four recent attacks overseas.

Australians caught up in four recent terrorist attacks overseas will be entitled to victim payments from the federal government.

The Australian Victim of Terrorism Overseas Payment scheme will apply to the attacks in Stockholm on April 7, Manchester on May 22, Baghdad on May 30 and London on June 3.

Australian residents harmed as a direct result may seek a one-off payment of up to $75,000.
