Victorian man crushed by bobcat load

A 42-year-old man has been killed at a foundry in northern Victoria after a load from the bobcat he was using fell through the windscreen.

A Victorian man has been crushed to death after a 200kg load in his bobcat's bucket crashed through the vehicle's windscreen.

The 42-year-old was working at a foundry in Wodonga, northern Victoria, about 11pm (AEST) on Tuesday when the contents fell from the bobcat's bucket and through the windscreen.

The incident is being investigated by Worksafe and police.
