Coach Kevin Muscat says Melbourne Victory will pause rightly - if only briefly - to celebrate becoming the first Australian soccer club to do the treble.
But then it will be straight back to business as the challenges keep coming for the A-League's most successful outfit.
The Victory have won three A-League premiership-championship doubles - including in 2014-15 - but have yet to successfully defended either crown.
They are also long overdue to make a run deep into the Asian Champions League, with the 2016 tournament kicking off in February.
Melbourne were deserving winners of a first FFA Cup title on Saturday night, beating gallant Perth Glory 2-0 through first-half goals from Oliver Bozanic and Besart Berisha.
"I'm ecstatic for the group," said Muscat.
"You have to come back (after winning the A-League), everyone is waiting for a hangover or that type of stuff but we showed how hungry we were.
"It's a trophy - it shouldn't be taken for granted and it shouldn't be taken lightly.
"It's going to look bloody great in our cabinet with the other two."
Muscat said it was important not to put any limitations on what his deep and talented playing group could go on to achieve.
"Nine other teams want to win the league and win the championship and we fall into that pack now and we look forward to the challenge," he said.
The only two minor letdowns for the Victory on Saturday night were the crowd of 15,098 - with a half-full AAMI Park crowd put down to the high ticket prices - and the fact that skipper Carl Valeri was officially banned from post-match celebrations after being sent off for picking up two yellow cards.
Muscat labelled the attendance as very disappointing, while noting that those fans who did turn up were part of a great night.
Valeri has now achieved the dubious distinction of being red-carded in the 2015 A-League and FFA Cup finals - a blow very much cushioned by his team going on to win both games.
"They are the rules - but I feel really disappointed for Carl," said Muscat.
"There is so much that is positive about tonight from our football club's perspective that I don't really want to go into it too much.
"But I think it has got to be looked at because he got punished, he got sent off and then to not allow him to celebrate with his teammates and to punish him again (was harsh)."
Valeri will now miss Saturday's big A-League clash against ladder leaders Sydney FC.
