A video has emerged on the internet showing Syrian soldiers in Homs surrounding a wounded man lying on the ground and firing gunshots at him, CNN reports.
CNN has not been able to verify this incident of other reports of violence in Syria because the government does not allow media into the country.
Residents of Homs confirmed crackdowns in the city, with one resident telling CNN she saw forces moving into a hospital and rounding up people there, including five people who were in the operating room.
