Australia will be able to export oranges, mandarins and table grapes to Vietnam once again.
The southeast Asian nation has lifted a ban it instituted in January amid concerns about Australia's management of the Mediterranean fruit fly.
Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce said in a statement on Thursday that Vietnam was now satisfied with the quality of Australian citrus and table grapes, which comes in time for the export season.
"That's going to be extremely welcomed by the grape producers, especially Mildura," Mr Joyce told reporters in Perth on Thursday.
He also commented on citrus producers who fear Indonesia's dramatic cut in Australian beef imports may mean bad news for them too.
Indonesia did not issue a quota for Australian citrus imports this quarter.
"I want to just make sure that we do whatever is in our power to keep the price of food affordable to the people of Jakarta and to the people on the streets of Aceh, of Sulawesi, and work as a strong partnership," Mr Joyce said.
