Religious leaders, elected officials and mourners have gathered at multiple prayer vigils in Las Vegas following the mass shooting at a country music festival that left at least 59 people dead and hundreds more injured.
Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman spoke to mourners in the setting sun on Monday night outside the city hall.
Several faith leaders led the group in prayer. The crowd later joined in song and held candles.
Several kilometres away at a cathedral off the Las Vegas Strip, mourners and casino workers gathered to honor the victims and first responders.
The vigils were among a number of memorials being held around the city.
Stephen Paddock, 64, opened fire from his room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay casino on Sunday night, raining bullets down on a country music festival across the road.
He then killed himself as police closed in.
