Village Roadshow has swung to a first half net loss, hurt by its film distribution division and Wet'n'Wild water park in Sydney.
Village reported a net loss of $3.5 million for the six months to December 31.
That compares with a net profit of $13.3 million over the same period a year earlier.

The performance was driven by a record first half result in the cinema exhibition unit and a return to strong results at the Gold Coast theme parks, including Warner Bros, Movie World and Sea World.
Revenue rose 11.5 per cent to $523.6 million from $469.6 million a year ago.
Village declared an interim dividend of 14 cents a share, flat from a year ago.
The company reiterated that it intends to consider a special dividend of 10 cents a share in fiscal 2017.
