Star Melbourne midfielder Bernie Vince will miss Sunday's AFL clash with Collingwood after accepting a one-match ban for striking.

Vince was cited for striking North Melbourne's Jamie Macmillan in Sunday's clash in Hobart.

The tribunal will not sit on Tuesday night after Richmond key-position player Troy Chaplin and Hawthorn's Grant Birchall also pleaded guilty to engaging in rough conduct and were fined $1000 apiece.
