Visionstream wins $350m Telstra contract

CIMIC and Apollo's Visionstream has secured a five-year contract with Telstra worth around $350 million to supply maintenace and building services.

Telecommunications service provider Visionstream has secured a $350 million contract with Telstra to supply maintenance and building services to more than 40,000 exchange and network assets across the country.

The five-year contract will build on the current 12-year relationship between the two companies, Visionstream chief executive Richard Kelleway said in a statement on Tuesday.

Visionstream is the communications division of Ventia, which is a services company created in 2015 through the integration of Leighton Contractors Services, Thiess Services and Visionstream.

Ventia is a 50-50 partnership between CIMIC and funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management.
