Vocus sells 16% stake in Macquarie Telecom

Vocus Group has sold its 16 per cent stake in corporate telco Macquarie Telecom to a broad range of new institutional and retail shareholders for $41 million.

Vocus Group has sold its 16 per cent stake in corporate telco Macquarie Telecom for $41 million.

Macquarie Telecom, which provides telecommunication and hosting services to corporate and government customers, says its second largest shareholder had offloaded its 3.4 million shares at $12.20 each to a broad range of new institutional and retail shareholders.

The shares were values at $13.00 at Monday's close, having risen 13 per cent on the ASX in the past three weeks.
