Breakers skipper Mika Vukona is in doubt for Friday's NBL clash against the Adelaide 36ers in Auckland after falling heavily in training on Tuesday.

The 33-year-old Tall Blacks power forward was carried from the court and sat with his lower right leg encased in icepacks before limping away for further assessment at the end of training.

The Breakers currently sit fourth on the Australian National Basketball League ladder with 11 wins from 18 games, and desperately need a win against fifth-placed Adelaide at the North Shore Events Centre.
